GDB Gives Back to Lancaster & the TBC

Thank you GDB volunteers! You make a positive difference in your community when you lend a hand and help. GDB is able to give back to organizations that support cycling in general and also support specific GDB activities BECAUSE of the great volunteers that make the Lancaster Rally such a success year after year.

		Gail Spann, the GDB Lancaster Rally Master for 2006, and Philip Watson present the First Baptist Church of Lancaster and the Lancaster Outreach Center with checks and thank you’s for their help and support with seven straight GDB Rallies. Our donations to both the church and Outreach Center aided in the support of extra costs incurred with evacuee assistance due to Hurricane Katrina.

Philip also presented Gail Spann with a GDB check to the Texas Bicycle Coalition (TBC) who continues its mission to provide bicycling access, safety and education throughout Texas.
