Registrants are expected to USE YOUR REAL NAME for your forum username. Otherwise, we will not be able to verify your GDB membership.

Non-GDB-Members are restricted to only seeing this Guidelines section and the Non-Members section. Only GDB Members are allowed to read and post messages. However, for newcomers who haven't had a chance to see the wealth of tips, suggestions, insight and information about rides, you can send an email to membership@greaterdallasbicyclists.com and request a 2-week Special Pass to allow you to experience the value of being a member of GDB.

After your registration has been approved and if you are a member of GDB, you will be assigned to the GDB Members group - this will allow you to read and post messages in all the sections. If you haven't been granted access to posting after a while, send a note to membership@greaterdallasbicyclists.com and your request will be processed as soon as possible.

When you are ready to join GDB or renew your membership, you can do so by US Mail by clicking here to download the membership application in PDF form which can be mailed along with your check. Or you can join or renew online at active.com by clicking here.

We ask that you be nice and keep your posts civil. Report any inappropriate behavior to the Forum Administrator. Violators are subject to reprimand or expulsion. Also please post to appropriate topics so we can keep things organized.

So how does this thing work? Start with the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link in the header. It answers lots of questions about how to post, add a signature, select an avatar and things like that. If the FAQ doesn't help, ask questions in the General topic.
