GDB's Annual Summer Bash and Dessert Contest

Trawick Pavilion/Oak Grove Park at Lake Grapevine
2500 Dove Loop Road
(at the intersection of Dove Loop/Park Road #1)
Bike Ride: Rolling out at 9 am
Lunch: Noon
There will be 3 different routes for those who want a challenge in
distance, middle of the road route or shorter route with an easy pace.
Each route will be lead by a club member and there will also be someone to ride as a sweeper so no one gets dropped or off course.
This is our annual Dessert Contest, so bring your favorite dessert to share with the group. We will have our very own GDB judges voting on the best dessert. If you can share that 'secret' mixture with others, please bring the recipe!
Bring the family and enjoy a day with friends. Other fun activities to
take part in while at the park is the horseshoe pits, sand volleyball or
bring the softball, football, soccer ball, frisbee to enjoy with others.
Cost for lunch:
Members: $10
Non-Members: $20
Kids under 12: Free
We will also have a drawing for door prizes.
RSVP is important so we have enough food and drinks for everyone. Please send an email by clicking here by end of day June 23rd. When RSVPing, please note if you will want a hamburger, chicken or hot dog. If you have any questions, please send an email to the rsvp email address and it will be answered.
Here are directions to get to the park (starting arbitrarily at 635/Midway):
1. Get on LYNDON B JOHNSON FWY/I-635 W. (12.30 miles)
2. Take the TX-121 N/BASS PRO DR exit- EXIT 36A. (0.21 miles)
3. Take the BASS PRO DR exit- EXIT 36B. (0.33 miles)
4. Turn LEFT onto BASS PRO DR. (0.59 miles)
5. Turn LEFT onto TX-26 W. (1.38 miles)
6. Turn RIGHT onto RUTH WALL ST/RUTH WALL RD. (0.32 miles)
7. Turn LEFT onto E DOVE LOOP RD. (1.84 miles)
8. Turn RIGHT onto DOVE LOOP RD. (0.72 miles)
9. End at 2500 Dove Loop Rd Grapevine, TX 76051-4968 US
