6:30pm [6:30pm-8:30pm] White Rock Night Ride - UN-official start

[7:00pm-9:00pm] White Rock Night Ride
7:00pm

Description:
On most but maybe not all Tuesdays & Thursdays,
there will be an UN-official ride that starts at 6:30. This ride is for those who have time issues and/or want to get a little more mileage. Alternates between downtown and the lake. Moderate pace with regroups. Prompt time start.
If 6:30 start is missed, there's the 7:00 Official Ride.
One important note: This starts early so we can get in 30 miles instead of the normal 20-22 mile 7:00 ride. This is not a "hammer ride", it's a fun 14-16 mph ride with some interesting downtown routes with Mason Dells at the end or the lake route with hills the first lap, no hills the second lap.
Level: 2-3
Distance: 30
Pace: 14-18 mph flats
Hills: Moderate pace with regroups.
Breaks: 1
Drops: None intended (group coordinates at start, may split)
Leader: Group ride, no specific leader
Maps provided: No
Ride down the White Rock Creek bike trail and around White Rock Lake (or other locations depending on weather and trail conditions). Either road bikes or mountain bikes are acceptable. Start at the Office Depot / Schlotzkys parking lot at the southwest corner of Forest Lane and Hwy 75 (Central Expressway).
